Our Non Destructive Evaluation  (NDE) and Inspections Department delivers the confidence you're looking for,  ensuring your critical components meet all of your demanding requirements.
Our NDE testing and inspections verify the quality of our  welds, as well as perform complete visual inspections, pressure tests, and  vacuum tests. The goal of our NDE and Inspection Department is to verify your  components have been fabricated and machined to your specifications—and meet  the highest standards for quality.
NDE and inspection services  include:
NDE:
  - All Ranor NDE personnel meet the requirements of SNT-TC-1A (1984, and 1992 through 2006 Editions); NAS 410
 
  - All methods meet ASME Code and Military Specification requirements
 
  
    - Radiography: X-ray Machine, Iridium-192, Cobalt-60  (by approved subcontractor), at laboratory or on-site; on-site facilities  include automatic film processing
 
    - Ultrasonic: Flaw Detection for straight or angle  beam, longitudinal or shear wave
 
    - Magnetic Particle: Visible Dry with AC/DC Yokes
 
    - Liquid Penetrant: Visible, Solvent Removable, and Water Washable
 
    - Visual Inspection: Welds
